Company Profile
The story of NASCO Nigeria is a story of innovation, diversification and growth. The company started operations in 1963 with the establishment of a jute bag manufacturing factory in Jos, Plateau State of Nigeria. With faith in the production of a wide range of products manufactured through associate companies.
As part of efforts to expand it’s operations, it diversified and set up a Needle-Felt Carpets plant, which produces carpets of various types (Cordex, Velour and Supertiles) in a wide range of designs and colours. Nasco Carpets brought a new concept in carpeting. They are long lasting, hard wearing, elegant, economical and easy to maintain. The plant produces underlay applications, vehicle assembly carpets for Peugeot automobiles as well as blankets of different sizes.
Nasco Foods Nigeria Limited produces the popular NASCO Cornflakes and Biscuits in Nigeria in various varieties to suit every taste and every occasion. The unit of Nasco reponsible for the manufacture of household items, aptly named, Nasco Household Products Limited manufactures detergents, toilet and laundry soaps, Glycerine, Sulphonic acid and other industrial detergents namely Slash, Action, Bonus, Solar, Brytex, Plus White and Hi–Power. Under her toilet-soap range are products like Nova, Plus, Beauty and the Nasco Bar.
These brands have been developed keeping in mind the special requirements of various consumer groups and the washing habits in Nigeria. The products are conceived with the objective of providing more value for money.
